Muskegon, Michigan, once the Port City, has had a diverse, unique history. The pride of the great lakes, Lumbertown was home to Sealed Power, Shaw Walker, Continental Motor, Campbell, Wyant & Cannon, Brunswick, Lakey Foundry, Westran, the Paper Mill, Anaconda and other huge employers. Muskegon's downtown reflected design and architectural styles of many periods. This is a review of relevant buildings in downtown Muskegon.
